Hungarian Fashion Anthropology Podcast

Post Image

Topics:  Digital Design, AR Applications. Focusing on Hybrid Futures of Fashion industry

In the first special edition of the Fashion Anthropology Podcast, we set our course towards the metaverse within a project connecting London and Budapest. The goal of this project is to create a Web 3.0-based shopping platform where unique 3D NFT clothing collections can be viewed in augmented reality (AR) using mobile devices. Environmental sustainability is also a target, along with cost optimization, as the clothes exist solely in the digital realm until the NFT purchase and ownership authentication take place. We will delve into the details with the participants of the project: Manunta Melinda, a 3D digital tailoring artist and web developer, Varga Péter, a WEB3 developer project manager, and Gyulai Natália, a fashion designer and visual artist.
